Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles have struck the Russian oil refinery in the city of Ufa, located around 1,400 kilometers from Ukraine, causing detonations and a blaze, as reported by a source in the Ukrainian SBU.

This constitutes the 3rd SBU deep strike in Bashkortostan in the past month. Such attacks illustrate that there are no secure zones in the far hinterland of the Russian state.

Ukrainian President Appeals to US President to Facilitate Peace in the Conflict

Operations proceeded on the weekend to restore power in the Ukrainian capital, after Russian attacks.

Energy had been returned to more than 800,000 inhabitants by the weekend and the major utility provider stated the primary work to repair the grid was concluded though certain disruptions remained.

Anti-Aircraft Efforts and UAV Interceptions

Ukraine's defense forces neutralized fifty-four of 78 enemy drones sent towards Ukraine in the dark hours, the aerial defense command announced on Saturday.

The Russian military authorities stated it eliminated 42 enemy UAVs from Ukraine over its own soil.

Cuba Rejects Allegations of Sending Forces to Ukraine

The Cuban government on the weekend denied American assertions it has deployed soldiers to fight in the conflict in Ukraine, while affirming the government "are without accurate details about citizens of Cuba" participating "on their own" or "as part of the armed units of the conflicting parties".
